Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Block Ticketing Coordinator for our gaming events. In this role, you will be responsible for managing ticketing operations for large blocks of tickets, ensuring efficient distribution, tracking, and coordination to support smooth and successful gaming events.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the allocation and distribution of block tickets for gaming events, tournaments, and conventions, working closely with event organizers, sponsors, and partners.
  2. Manage ticket inventory, tracking availability, allocation, and utilization to maximize attendance and revenue generation for gaming events.
  3. Process block ticket requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual obligations and event guidelines.
  4. Communicate with event organizers, sponsors, and partners to gather ticketing requirements, preferences, and special requests.
  5. Generate and distribute block ticket packages, including digital tickets, physical tickets, access codes, and VIP passes, as needed.
  6. Maintain detailed records of ticket allocations, sales, and distributions, tracking inventory levels, reservations, and attendee information.
  7. Coordinate ticket transfers, exchanges, and upgrades for sponsors, partners, and VIP guests, providing personalized service and support.
  8. Collaborate with marketing and promotional teams to develop and implement strategies to drive ticket sales and promote attendance at gaming events.
  9. Provide support and assistance to attendees, sponsors, and partners with ticketing inquiries, registration assistance, and on-site logistics.
  10. Evaluate ticketing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancements.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Previous experience in ticketing operations, event management, or customer service, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, sponsors, partners, and attendees.
  5. Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with the ability to maintain accurate records, track data, and generate reports.
  6. Proficiency in ticketing software, event management platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  7. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support gaming events as needed.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
  9. Team player with a collaborative mindset, willing to assist colleagues and contribute to the success of gaming events.
  10. Passion for gaming and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for attendees, sponsors, and partners at gaming events.
