  1. Monitor gaming operations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal gaming regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, identifying and addressing areas of non-compliance or potential risks.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections of gaming areas, equipment, and procedures, examining gaming records, transactions, and surveillance footage to detect anomalies, irregularities, or discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate with casino management and regulatory agencies to develop, implement, and update gaming compliance programs, policies, and controls, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  4. Review and evaluate gaming license applications, background checks, and suitability determinations for gaming employees, vendors, and other stakeholders, and maintain accurate records of licensing and compliance activities.
  5. Investigate complaints, disputes, or allegations of gaming-related misconduct or irregularities, conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and documenting findings to support regulatory compliance and enforcement actions.
  6. Develop and deliver training programs and workshops on gaming regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical standards for casino staff, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
  7. Stay informed about changes in gaming laws, regulations, and industry trends, monitoring regulatory developments and participating in industry associations, conferences, and training seminars to maintain expertise and knowledge.
  8. Collaborate with casino security and surveillance teams to enhance surveillance capabilities, identify potential threats or vulnerabilities, and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect casino assets and maintain gaming integrity.
  9. Prepare and submit regulatory reports, filings, and disclosures in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and regulatory deadlines.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information related to gaming compliance matters, adhering to ethical standards and professional codes of conduct in all aspects of job performance.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, criminal justice, accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certification in gaming compliance or regulatory affairs is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in gaming compliance, regulatory enforcement, or related field, with specific experience in casino operations and regulatory compliance preferred.
  3. In-depth knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and compliance standards, including Title 31, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reporting requirements.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex gaming regulations, identify compliance issues, and develop effective solutions and remediation strategies.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with regulatory agencies, casino management, staff, and external stakeholders in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and regulatory compliance software, with the ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
  8. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, to accommodate casino operations and regulatory requirements.
  9. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and regulatory matters.
  10. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses or certifications required for employment in the gaming industry, including gaming licenses and certifications related to gaming compliance.
